C/C++ Senior Software Developer/Architect

You can expect a varied range of tasks:

  • Requirements analysis, specification, programming and validation of the embedded software in our automotive transport robots
  • Analysing and constantly optimising the existing software architecture in order to increase stability, scalability, maintainability and testability
  • Conception, development of new software modules, and maintenance of existing software modules and communication interfaces (wireless, sensors) for assistance systems and the control system
  • Definition and selection of hard and software architectures for the future robot generation

Requirements:

  • Technical degree course at technical college/university (electronic engineering, computer science, etc.) with practical experience or HTL with several years of relevant work experience
  • Sound knowledge of the embedded software development incl. the use of C/C++, UML, microcontrollers
  • Very good knowledge of software patterns
  • Know-how with extensive practical relevance in several of the listed areas: – Positioning and motor control – WiFi, LAN and bus-based communication – software architecture, object orientated design (OOD) – multi-threaded and multi-process programming – experience with real-time operation systems – test driven development, design and implementation
  • Willingness to travel approx. 10%
  • Very good command of English, German is an advantage
